Finally Fall - New in my Scrapbird store!

I live in the middle of the desert. And here, it's still pretty warm. But, slowly, ever so slowly, the temperatures are dropping. It's early October, and most places it's already fall, but here, fall is still "approaching". For years, I've driven a couple of hours north, up into the mountains, to enjoy the fall color. It's well worth the drive for me. So, if you have great fall color, or can drive to somewhere you can find it, break your camera out and take some fabulous photos. And, don't forget to scrap them to preserve the memories.

Fall is upon us. Where I live there is very little fall color, but, if I drive 2 hours north, there are areas with the glorious colors of fall. I'm looking forward to taking a little trip....... I'm planning to use this kit to scrap some truly beautiful photos. How about you?

Tiffany's Mini Kit - New in my Scrapbird Store!

Could you use a "pretty" little kit? When I first started working on this, I called the folder "Just Pretty Papers". Then I decided those pretty papers deserved some pretty elements. Finally I decided that a mini kit that contained elements just couldn't be called "Just Pretty Papers". It reminded me of the famous store where fancy jewelry is sold so I changed the name to Tiffany's. It might surprise you, but the gray papers in this kit would work well for masculine layouts as well....

The day you finally get to go there, well that day stays in your memory "forever". And if you dreamed, as a child, to go to Disneyland and you never got to go, I think there's a tiny tinge of sadness and disappointment about that which lasts "forever". This kit will help you scrap memories of trips to Disneyland and all things mouse. Or, you can scrap your memories of watching The Mouseketeers in black and white re-broadcast on TV. Or, you can use it to scrap a lot of other memories as well.

Let's talk for a minute about our best friends. I don't know about you but I have a hard time, face to face, expressing my feelings about my best friend. She listens when I need to talk. She sets aside time for me in spite of how busy her life is. She is thoughtful, kind and generous. I feel blessed to have her in my life and I just don't know how to say all that to her. She's the kind that will brush off words, as though she doesn't do anything special and that's hardly the case. Do you have a friend like that? Maybe we would have better luck expressing our true feelings if we scrapped about this very special person, this cherished relationship. Here's a beautiful kit, intended for that purpose.
