When my daughter was young, I took her horseback riding. Since we were
newbies, they gave us two old, very gentle horses. These horses were not
only old, they were also tired and stubborn. No matter what I did, mine
would not go. Hers would walk a minute or two and then go stand next to
the steps that were used to help folks mount and dismount. Do you have
